DIRECTORS’ REPORT The Directors have pleasure in presenting their report together with the audited financial statements of the Group and of the Company for the financial year ended 31 December 2023. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES The Company is an Investment Holding Company and is also involved in oil palm plantation operations. The principal activities of the subsidiaries and associates are disclosed in Note 38 to the financial statements. There have been no significant changes in the nature of the principal activities of the Group and the Company during the financial year under review. In the opinion of the Directors, the results of the operations of the Group and of the Company during the financial year were not substantially affected by any item, transaction or event of a material and unusual nature. DIVIDENDS During the financial year under review, the Company paid a fourth interim dividend of 3.30 sen per share totaling RM73,920,000 in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2022 as declared in the Directors’ report of that year.
