Boustead Plantations Berhad wishes to announce that it has incorporated a new wholly-owned subsidiary company, Boustead Life Sciences Research Sdn Bhd (BLSRSB) on 2 November 2018 under the Companies Act, 2016.  BLSRSB has a paid-up share capital of RM250,000 comprising 250,000 ordinary shares held by Boustead Plantations Berhad.  The principal activity of BLSRSB is undertaking advisory and research activities on life sciences as well as commercialisation of products developed from life sciences.

The incorporation of BLSRSB is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings, net assets or gearing of Boustead Plantations Berhad.

None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of Boustead Plantations Berhad and/or any persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect in the said incorporation.
