The Directors have pleasure in presenting their report and the audited financial statements of the Group and of the
Company for the financial year ended 31 December 2015.
Principal Activities
The Company is an investment holding company, which also operates an oil palm plantation. The principal activities
of the Subsidiaries and Associates are disclosed on pages 133 and 134. There have been no significant changes in
the nature of the principal activities of the Group and the Company during the financial year under review.

There were no material transfers to or from reserves or provisions during the financial year other than as disclosed
in the financial statements.
In the opinion of the Directors, the results of the operations of the Group and of the Company during the financial
year were not substantially affected by any item, transaction or event of a material and unusual nature other than
the gain on disposal of plantation land recognised in the income statements of the Group and the Company of
RM57,130,000 and RM39,515,000 respectively.
Dividends
During the financial year under review, the Company paid an interim third dividend of 2 sen per share totalling
RM32 million in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2014 as declared in the Directors’ report of that
year.
